One app for chat, calls, the map, clips and games.
Your messages, calls, location shares and moments are end-to-end encrypted — we hold no key and cannot read them, even if we wanted to. Clips and games are public by design, and we say so on the tin rather than in a footnote.
Chats nobody else can open
One-to-one and group messages, sealed on your device for each recipient device. You decide who can reach you before a stranger can start a conversation at all.
End-to-end encryptedHow messaging worksCalls we route but never hear
Voice and video, one to one or as a group, encrypted frame by frame. We keep the log — who called whom, and for how long — because a missed call has to be a record of something. We never keep the call.
End-to-end encryptedHow calls workA map that forgets on schedule
See the friends who chose to share with you, at the precision they picked, for as long as they said. Every share carries its own expiry — you do not have to remember to turn it off.
End-to-end encryptedHow the map worksClips, and we say they are public
Short public video, creator profiles and follows. Public means public: the server stores the video and the caption in the clear and counts every view. You cannot encrypt a broadcast to an audience that has not signed up yet.
Public — not encryptedWhat clips are, exactlyGames with a referee that sees
Tic Tac Toe, Rock Paper Scissors, Snake and Hand Cricket, played inside a chat. The server referees, so it reads the moves — otherwise a modified client could claim any move it liked. The invite travelled encrypted like any other message.

One Rust core compiled into every platform. The ratchets and group protocol are public standards; the custom glue is small, centralised, and written down on its own page.
An app that says “private” on every screen is telling you nothing. So here is the line.
We cannot read
- The text of every message, one to one and in groups
- Photos, videos, voice notes and files you send in a chat
- Voice and video calls, including group calls
- Live location and the pins you drop into a conversation
- Moments you post to a chosen audience
We can read
- Clips — the video, the caption, the thumbnail
- Creator profiles, follows, likes and comments on clips
- Game moves, scores and results while a match is running
- Who messaged whom and when, and who called whom and when
Built in India, for the world.
Voiid is designed and built in India, under Indian law, by a team that uses it every day. It is not an Indian version of something else — the encryption, the map, the clips and the games are one codebase, shipping to everyone at the same time.
